Brazil already welcomed 85,000 Venezuelans

Brazil already welcomed 85,000 Venezuelans who fled poverty and the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro and sought shelter in our country. Through the “Acolhida” Op, most of the migrants have received assistance, settled down and are now working in different Brazilian states.

Due to serious political and economic crisis in Venezuela, inflation in the country is expected to reach an outrageous rate of 500% by the end of the year, according to the International Monetary Fund, IMF. Around 7 million Venezuelans have left their country since 2014.
