In November 2021, the Brazilian government inaugurated a new physical-chemical laboratory at Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, a Brazilian research and development institution founded in 1900. The new lab facilities will highly improve the quality control on the vaccines produced in Brazil.
The Foundation is a large vaccine producer, having reached the last phase of internalizing the production of the Covid-19 vaccine. The newly created lab meets the demands for quality control analysis of vaccines and biopharmaceuticals, including vaccines against Covid-19.
