The Brazilian Government has condemned the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, an action that destabilizes regional and international security and violates the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
In a Note released on Friday, Brazil urged the countries in the region to redouble their efforts in engaging North Korea to renew the missile test moratorium and to adhere to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban and Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaties.
