Gross Value of Agricultural Production reaches R$ 1.241 trillion

Gross Value of Agricultural Production reaches R$ 1.241 trillion for 2022, based on information from June, i.e. 1.6% above that obtained in 2021.

Crops, with sales of R$ 875.50 billion, were the main responsible for the growth of the Gross Value of Agricultural Production (VBP, in the acronym in Portuguese), and presented real growth of 5.2%. Its share in the VBP is 70%, and livestock 30%.

The best VBP performance occurred in the soybean, corn, sugarcane, coffee and cotton markets. These were the highest ranked among the analyzed products.
