Strategic Planning is ANEEL’s main management instrument. Developed through a participatory approach, it provides the guiding principles for the Agency’s activities.
Decree No. 2,335/97, which established ANEEL, and the Agency’s Internal Regulations provide that the Agency’s strategic management shall be led by the Director-General and the other Directors, the Board Advisers, the General Counsel, the Chief of Staff, the Superintendents, the Secretaries, the Head of Internal Affairs, Ombudsman, and the Chief Auditor.
The Board is responsible for analysing, discussing and making the final administrative decisions regarding the Agency’s strategic planning.
