Market access in Gabon for corn, sorghum, brachiaria and soy seeds

The Brazilian government is pleased to announce that Gabonese authorities have approved the phytosanitary proposal for exporting corn, sorghum, brachiaria, and soy seeds from Brazil to Gabon.

In terms of trade, from January to September this year, Gabon imported over USD 49 million in Brazilian agribusiness products, exceeding last year's total of approximately USD 46 million.

With this approval, Brazilian agribusiness has achieved its 191st market access in 2024, bringing the total to 269 opportunities across 61 destinations since the beginning of 2023.

These achievements are the result of collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
