Market access in Singapore for Brazilian live lobster exports

The Brazilian government has welcomed Singapore's approval of the sanitary requirements needed for Brazil to export live lobsters to the country. 

This latest approval builds on Singapore's earlier authorization, granted in February, for Brazilian sheep meat, related products, and beef extract. Between January and September 2024, Singapore imported approximately USD 540 million in agricultural products from Brazil. 

With this new authorization, Brazilian agribusiness has secured its 195th market access of the year, totaling 273 opportunities across 61 destinations since the start of 2023. 

These achievements are the result of joint efforts by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
