Brazilian poultry and pork gain market entry in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The Brazilian government has secured approval from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ sanitary authorities for the International Sanitary Certificate (ISC), opening the door to exports of poultry and pork from Brazil.

This decision highlights global confidence in Brazil’s robust sanitary controls and strengthens trade ties with the Caribbean nation.

In 2024, Brazil exported about US$200 million in agricultural goods to Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries, led by meat, forestry products, cereals, flours, and preparations.

This marks Brazil’s 31st market access in 2025, pushing the total to 331 new trade avenues since early 2023.

These successes reflect the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
