Brazil secures second market access in Saudi Arabia in 2024

The Saudi Arabian government has granted authorization for Brazil to export live birds to the country.

This is the second market access secured in Saudi Arabia this year; in March, Brazil also received approval to export vegetable seeds.

In 2023, Saudi Arabia ranked as the 11th largest destination for Brazilian agricultural exports, with trade totaling $2.93 billion.

With this new authorization, Brazilian agribusiness has reached its 102nd market access of the year, bringing the total to 180 across 58 destinations since the beginning of 2023.

These achievements are the result of joint efforts by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
