Brazil Secures New Market Openings for Agribusiness
New Market Openings
The Brazilian government has successfully concluded new sanitary and phytosanitary negotiations, expanding international market access for national agribusiness products.
In Togo, authorities authorized imports of Brazilian corn, brachiaria, soybean, and sorghum seeds. Renowned worldwide for their genetic quality, high germination rates, and strict sanitary standards, Brazilian seeds reflect continuous investment in research and innovation — helping boost productivity and food security in partner countries.
In Indonesia, approval was granted for the export of live cattle for breeding. This development will strengthen local livestock production and create new opportunities for Brazilian producers to expand their presence in Asia.
With these announcements, Brazilian agribusiness has now achieved 415 new market openings since the beginning of 2023, across 71 destinations worldwide.
These advances result from the coordinated work of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
