Brazil secures market access for fish meal and fats exports to Bolivia
The Brazilian government has secured approval from Bolivia’s sanitary authorities for the International Sanitary Certificate (ISC), paving the way for exports of fish meal and fats.
This step reflects strong global trust in Brazil’s sanitary standards and deepens trade links with its South American neighbor.
Last year, Bolivia imported about US$399 million in Brazilian agricultural goods, led by beverages, forestry products, and animal feed.
Now, Brazil’s agribusiness marks its 28th market access of 2025, totaling 328 new trade avenues since 2023 began.
These accomplishments result from the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
