Brazil expands agricultural exports to South Korea and Vietnam
The Brazilian government is pleased to announce that South Korea and Vietnam have authorized the import of new Brazilian agricultural products.
In South Korea, authorities have approved the import of poultry feathers, creating new trade opportunities for Brazilian agribusiness. This product is widely used in industrial applications, including pillows, cushions, bedding, and upholstery, as well as thermal and acoustic insulation materials. In 2024, South Korea imported USD 2.9 billion in Brazilian agricultural products.
In Vietnam, the country’s sanitary authority has confirmed authorization for the import of pet food containing animal-based ingredients. Last year, Brazil exported USD 3.9 billion in agricultural goods to Vietnam.
These market accesses reflect Brazil’s commitment to diversifying its export portfolio and strengthening trade relations with key partners. For importing countries, access to Brazilian products ensures high-quality, internationally certified goods, enhancing supply chains, economic development, and food security.
With these latest approvals, Brazilian agribusiness has secured 15 new market accesses in 2025, bringing the total to 315 new export opportunities since early 2023.
