Brazil celebrates market access in Gabon

The Brazilian government has received authorization from the Gabonese sanitary authority, approving the proposal for the International Zoosanitary Certificate (CZI) for the export of Brazilian cattle and buffalo for breeding.

In 2023, Gabon imported more than USD 46 million in Brazilian agribusiness products, with the meat sector accounting for 85% of these exports.

With this announcement, Brazilian agribusiness has achieved its 75th market access this year, totaling 153 accesses in 53 countries since the beginning of 2023.

This new market access is the result of coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
