Brazil celebrates first market access in the European Union in 2024

With this announcement, Brazilian agribusiness achieves its 90th market access this year, totaling 168 accesses in 56 destinations since the beginning of 2023

The Brazilian government has received an announcement from the European Union (EU) health authorities granting authorization for Brazil to export live horses to EU countries.

The European Union is the second-largest destination for Brazilian agribusiness products. In the first half of this year, Brazil's agricultural exports to this market totaled $11.05 billion.

With this announcement, Brazilian agribusiness achieves its 90th market access this year, totaling 168 accesses in 56 destinations since the beginning of 2023.

These achievements result from the joint efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
