Agricultural market access for Brazil in Mexico
Agricultural market access for Brazil in Mexico
The Brazilian government has announced that Mexico has authorized Brazil to export powdered egg and granulated egg for animal consumption to that country.
This market opening not only reflects the high level of international trust in Brazil's sanitary control system but also has the potential to boost bilateral trade.
In 2024, Mexico imported over USD 2.9 billion worth of agricultural products from Brazil, with notable contributions from the sectors of animal protein, soybean complex, forest products, and coffee.
With this announcement, Brazilian agribusiness secures its 10th market access in 2025, bringing the total to 310 new business opportunities since the beginning of 2023.
These achievements are the result of collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
