IV SAGE – Space Geophysics Academic Week

It is with great pleasure that we are holding the IV Space Geophysics Academic Week (SAGE-INPE). The event will take place at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), in the Division of Heliophysics, Planetary Sciences and Aeronomy (DIHPA), from October 5 to 9, 2026, according to the published schedule.
SAGE-INPE aims to:

• Promote knowledge in the areas of Heliophysics, Space Geophysics, and Aeronomy;
• Strengthen and integrate the scientific community in Heliophysics and Space Geophysics;
• Encourage interaction between students and researchers from the postgraduate program in Space Geophysics;
• Consolidate an environment for academic exchange, scientific collaboration, and the training of new researchers.

The activities scheduled for SAGE-INPE will involve presentations by registered participants, especially PGGES students, lectures and seminars with invited researchers, a ceremony for 2025/2026 graduates, technical visits, and academic integration activities.

In this edition, SAGE will be an event open to students and researchers in the field of Space Geophysics from any institution
