GOALS

... supporting communities in a state of social vulnerability, located in rural and remote areas, and in the urban periphery, offering access to internet connection services, promoting digital and social inclusion and encouraging e-government actions;
... expanding the offer of broadband internet access to public institutions, with priority given to remote and border regions;
... supporting government agencies in e-government actions; and
... helping expand internet access in line with other government programs.

CATEGORIES

There are two GESAC Program categories:

GESAC Internet Point — installed in specific locations, such as public institutions, schools, libraries, telecenters, health units, quilombola communities, indigenous villages, rural settlements and others.
