Registration for the 2nd Edition of the Sociobiodiversity Guardian Organizations Award extended until February 23

The deadline for applications for the 2nd Edition of the Sociobiodiversity Guardian Organizations Award, an initiative of the National Fund for Benefit Sharing (FNRB), has been extended to February 23, 2026 (Monday), at 11:59 p.m. Brasília time.

Fifty (50) grassroots organizations dedicated to the protection of sociobiodiversity and associated traditional knowledge will be selected, recognizing the organizations' track record, their initiatives, length of activity, and importance to indigenous populations, traditional communities, quilombola communities, and family farmers, with R$ 2,500,000.00 (two million five hundred thousand reais) in prizes.
