President Lula to join BRICS Summit via videoconference

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will not attend the BRICS Summit in Kazan following medical advice, which recommends he avoid long-haul flights temporarily.

Instead, the President will participate in the summit via videoconference while continuing his regular work schedule this week at the Planalto Palace in Brasília.
