President Lula, Oliver Stone hold phone conversation

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva spoke on the telephone with United States filmmaker Oliver Stone this Monday (27), from Planalto Palace. They discussed Stone’s latest documentary, “Lula,” which premiered last week during the Cannes Festival in France. The production traces the Brazilian President's journey, particularly emphasizing the years leading up to his victorious election in 2022.

President Lula expressed his gratitude to the filmmaker for crafting the documentary and asked him to extend his thanks to the entire production crew. Stone announced his intention to come to Brazil for the national release, on a date yet to be determined.
