Meeting between President Lula and CEO of BYD, Wang Chuanfu

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva met this Thursday (April 13th) in Shanghai with the CEO of electric vehicle company BYD, Wang Chuanfu. BYD already produces electric buses in Brazil and is in negotiations to open an electric car factory in Camaçari, Bahia.

At the meeting, with the presence of Brazilian ministers of state and governors who are in the delegation, the company's CEO spoke about the Chinese public policies that gave the country a strong electric vehicle industry and the expansion of the EV market, both for passenger cars and buses.
