President Lula and UK’s King Charles III talk over the phone

Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva received a call from HM King Charles III, of the United Kingdom, this Monday afternoon (March 6).

President Lula thanked King Charles for his felicitations on winning the Brazilian elections, as well as for his positive comments regarding Brazil's role in the multilateral climate change and sustainable development agenda.

President Lula also highlighted the fluidity of the bilateral agenda in the fields of trade and investment, cultural exchange and science and technology - also highlighting cooperation between Fiocruz and the University of Oxford in producing the AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19, amongst other topics.
