ABOUT VIVIS
NO EMPLOYMENT IN BRAZIL: The beneficiary of a visitor visa is prohibited from engaging in paid employment in Brazil.
STOPOVERS AND TRANSIT: No visa is required for stopovers or connections in Brazilian airports, provided that the visitor does not leave the international transit area. If the traveler is going to leave the international transit area, a visit visa may be required.
THE SAME VISITOR VISA CAN BE USED FOR DIFFERENT PURPOSES: A visitor visa can be used for different purposes, on the same trip, or on different occasions, provided the purposes are covered by the visitor visa rules listed above. For example, you can apply for a visitor visa for a tourist visit and, in the future, use the same visa for a business trip; or you can do business and tourism on the same trip.
VISITOR VISAS ARE USUALLY GOOD FOR MULTIPLE ENTRIES. The Brazilian Government decides at its own
discretion the type of Visa and duration granted. The maximum stay will be decided by the Federal Police
of Brazil.
