Family Reunification Visa

The VITEM XI visa may be granted to an individual (hereby referred to as “applicant”) who is the parent, guardian, grandparent, child, grandchild, spouse, partner, or sibling of a Brazilian citizen or of a temporary or permanent resident in Brazil (hereby referred to as “visa sponsor”).

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Passport (valid and signed with at least two blank Visa pages)
• Proof of residence in the Zambia (visa or Resident Permit);
• Visa Application Form Receipt (printed and signed);                
• Passport-style photo (2’’x2’’);
• Proof of payment of the consular fee (USD 100,00); Consular Account Details;
• Birth Certificate (original and one copy)
• Birth certificate may also serve as proof of the relationship between applicant and visa sponsor (see below) if the former is the child of the latter.
• Police clearance (recently issued);
• Proof of the relationship between applicant and visa sponsor (one of the following):
• Birth Certificate (if applicant is the child of the visa sponsor)
• Marriage Certificate (if applicant is the spouse of the visa sponsor)
• Documentation proving applicant’s legal guardianship of visa sponsor, or vice versa
• Documentation proving applicant’s financial dependence on visa sponsor, or vice versa
• Sworn affidavit stating that the applicant’s visa sponsor either currently resides or will reside in Brazil.
• Valid Brazilian passport or authorization of residence in Brazil (RNE) of the visa sponsor
• Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 with immunizations approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) or by the World Health Organization (WHO) or by the authorities of the country where the traveler has been immunized, whose last dose or single dose has occurred at least fourteen days before the date of boarding.
