Consular Services

• The Consular Section of the Embassy of Brazil in Kigali attends to the public Monday to Friday (except holidays), from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. 
• All consular services are made by appointment only. 
• The estimated processing time for consular services is at least 5 business days.

The Consular Section informs the public that all consular services require prior appointment. Applicants for all consular services at the Embassy of Brazil in Kigali must follow the steps below: 

1. Fill out the corresponding form for the desired service. Access the form here: https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br
2. Gather all the required documents and the Application Number. Send them according to the instructions for each service. 
3. Send an email to consular.kigali@itamaraty.gov.br to schedule an appointment, which may occur Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM – for the delivery of documents to the Consular Section.

After the service is processed, the Consular Section will inform the applicant by email of the date and time for the collection of the processed documents and completed services.

The payment for services rendered by the Consular Section may be made by bank deposit into the Embassy of Brazil/Consular account:
