Visitor Visa - Business
ELIGIBILITY:
- Business includes participation in meetings, fairs and business events, prospecting for commercial opportunities, signing contracts, carrying out audits or consultancy, as long as the visa beneficiary does not carry out paid activity from a Brazilian source and the activity carried out does not last longer than 90 days,
- Filming; news report,
- Seafarers without seafarers’ identity card and, without labors contract in brazil, to join or work on board a vessel along the Brazilian coast, or as an aircraft crew member, provided that the duration of stay is less than 90 (ninety) days.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Online-application form filled out at https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br, printed and signed by the applicant,
2) One recent passport photo, 4x6cm, white background,
3) Original signed passport, valid for at least another 06 months from the expected date of exit of Brazil, with at least two blank visa pages,
4) Notarized letter of invitation from Brazilian company (original or colored scanned version) contains information about purpose, duration of stay, place of business trip, personal information of applicant and contact information of Brazilian company,
5) Original letter from Vietnamese company/entity with the following information:
- Nature of business of the company,
- Applicant’s title and work position in the company,
- Detailed information concerning nature of business and activities conducted in Brazil,
- Responsibility of the company that the applicant will not be pursuing any activities incompatible with a business visa (such as paid work, technical assistance, technical training),
- Name and address of Brazilian company which the applicant will deal/negotiate with,
- Name(s) of person(s) to be contacted in Brazil, phone number(s) and his/her/their functions in Brazilian company,
- Expected length of stay in Brazil,
- Responsibility of the company for applicant’s stay in Brazil and his/her return to Vietnam
6) For crewmembers boarding ship in Brazil: schedule for expected date of arrival and departure at/from Brazil and job description of crewmembers,
7) For crewmembers boarding ship in Vietnam: provide the “General declaration” and “Crew list’’ confirmed by Maritime Administration of the port where the ship will dock in,
8) Proof of employment: True certified copy of the applicant’s labor contract or business registration license of company (in case the applicant is the owner or legal representative of the company),
9) For filming/news report: Authorization from National Cinema Agency – ANCINE of Brazil – applicants need to contact ANCINE to obtain this authorization before applying for visa.
10) Round-trip flight itinerary (it is only a flight timetable on the chosen flight airline, comprised of a flight name, your name, also a valid flight reservation number or booking ID, arrival and departure date and airport IATA codes, as well as the price of a real Flight Ticket).
11) Hotel reservation.
12) Financial support:
- Last 6-month bank statement of applicant,
- Saving account balance confirmation (saving account should be opened at least 3 months prior to the date of application),
13) If the applicant is non-Vietnamese nationals, a notarized copy of valid Vietnamese work permit and temporary residence card are required,
14) Receipt of fees payment. Visa fee is non – refundable at any case. Make sure you pay the right amount of fee according to your nationality before submitting application.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The processing time is about 7-15 working days and might be extended if necessary. Do not contact the consular section until the outcome of application is available. To speed up processing time, applicant must upload the required documents as complete and accurate as possible.
- We strongly recommend you apply for visa well in advance of your proposed journey, 1 month before departure date, and not to make irrevocable travel plans. Embassy takes no responsibility related to itinerary changing.
- All documents must be prepared in English or a certified English translation is required.
- The applicant should complete application fully and authentically. The Embassy may at any time request further information or additional documents if needed.
- Visa is not an applicant’s right and may be denied. It does not guarantee the right of entry or stay in Brazil and can be cancelled at the discretion of the Brazilian immigration authorities.

- Visa documentation can be delivered in person/ by the third party/ by postal mail. Working hours: 09h-13h, Monday – Friday.
- If the visa is approved, there are two ways to collect it at the Embassy:
- · In person: the visa can be collected in person, or by an authorized third party, from Monday to Friday, from 14h-16h, at the Embassy.
- · By post: passports with processed visas can be returned to a named address in Vietnam. A self-addressed envelope need be sent with the application; payment to Viettel Post shall be made on delivery. Please note that the Embassy shall not be liable for documents delayed/lost by mail services.
