Digital Nomad Visa (VITEM XIV)

I - Eligibility:

Digital Nomad: Professionals whose work can be performed remotely, with a minimum monthly income of US$ 1,500.00 or an available balance of at least US$ 18,000.00, for stays of 90 days or more.

II - General Requirements:

1) PASSPORT: valid up to the end of your trip, and with at least one visa blank page available (amendment pages are not accepted).

2) Visa Application Form: One per applicant, completely filled out online and signed by the passport holder or his/her parents/guardians. You will need to print only the receipt page (RER) with the bar code.

3) PHOTO: One recent 3x4 passport-photo size, front view, white background.

4) POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE: for applicants age18 or over. The certificate is only valid for 3 months after issuance. Must be duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates. After the Emirati legalization, the document must also be legalized by the Embassy of Brazil (fee: AED 80,00); Please note: If the applicant has lived in multiple countries within the last 12 months, a police check from each country must be provided. They must also be duly legalised by the respective Brazilian consular authority with jurisdiction over these countries, and translated by a sworn translator, if necessary.

5) BIRTH CERTIFICATE: copy of applicant's birth certificate

6) HEALTH INSURANCE valid in Brazil.

III - Additional Requirements:

• DIGITAL NOMAD: Documents that can prove the status as a digital nomad, which must include:
• proof of income of at least US$ 1,500.00 monthly or US$ 18,000.00 available in a checking or savings account;
• Employment or service contract (signed by a foreign employer/service contractor) and statement that work activities can be performed remotely. This statement ought to be presented in a letterhead format, signed by the contractor;
• Statement by the applicant attesting the ability to carry out their professional activities remotely.

IV - Fees:

400 AED (visa) + 80 AED (legalization of Police Clearance) = 480 AED
