VISA RECEIPT OF REQUEST SUBMISSION

- Fill out the Visa Request Form
- You MUST upload ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS listed below
- Print the Visa Receipt of Request Submission (RER) and sign it in the designated box WITH PEN (digital signatures ARE NOT accepted).
- For minor applicants, both parents must sign the RER in the designated box.

ORIGINAL PASSPORT
|
- The passport must be valid for the entire period of stay, including the date of departure.
- It must have at least two blank pages

PROOF OF STATUS IN CANADA
|
- Non-Canadians must also provide proof of legal status in Canada such as:
- a valid visa, admission stamp on the passport
- a valid study / work permit
- permanent resident card
- You MUST submit the ORIGINAL OR NOTARIZED copy of your proof of status document.

PROOF OF PARENTAGE
|
- BIRTH CERTIFICATE with parent’s full name; OR
- GOVERNMENT-ISSUED DOCUMENT with parent’s full name on it.
- If the document is not in Portuguese, English, Spanish, or French, it must be accompanied by a certified translation.

|
CRIMINAL RECORD
|
- RCMP Criminal Record (click here) OR Local Police Criminal Record.
- The Criminal Record MUST have been issued within the last 3 months.
|
|
PROOF OF RESIDENCE WITHIN THE CONSULAR JURISDICTION
|
- Photocopy of a valid Driver’s Licence; OR
- Utility bill from current month; OR
- Bank / Credit Card statement with name, address and issue date.
OBS: The jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto is limited to the provinces of ONTARIO and MANITOBA, as well as the territory of NUNAVUT.

INVITATION FROM BRAZILIAN ORGANIZATION
|
- A document from the organization based in Brazil inviting the immigrant to provide services as a volunteer.
|
|
BRAZILIAN ORGANIZATION REGISTRATION
|
- The articles of incorporation or bylaws of the requesting organization, duly registered with the competent authority;
- Act of appointment, designation, or election of the current board of directors;
- Proof of registration with the Social Assistance Council, when applicable, or certification of qualification as a civil society organization of public interest, issued by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, when applicable. This does not apply to organizations linked to a foreign government.
- Proof that the organization is in full and regular operation.

DETAILS ABOUT THE VOLUNTEERING
|
- A document indicating the location of the service provision and the activities that will be carried out by the immigrant.
|
|
TERM OF RESPONSIBILITY ISSEUD BY THE BRAZILIAN ORGANIZATION 1
|
- Term of responsibility from the organization for the means of support of the immigrant during their stay in Brazil and for their return to the country of origin.
|
|
TERM OF RESPONSIBILITY ISSEUD BY THE BRAZILIAN ORGANIZATION 2
|
- Term of responsibility in which the organization or institution assumes all medical and hospital expenses of the immigrant.
|
|
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE VOLUNTEER
|
- A document that proves professional experience or qualification compatible with the activities to be performed, when applicable. It should not be required when the role to be carried out in Brazil does not require specialized knowledge.

FEES
|
- Payment must be made by MONEY ORDER or BANK DRAFT payable to "Consulate General of Brazil"
- The fee for visitor visas is CAD $150.00 with the exception of the following:

RETURN ENVELOPE
|
- Canada Post prepaid envelope (registered, express or priority mail)
- The envelope must be self-addressed (on both fields “To” and “FROM” and have a tracking number
