ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
PROCESSING TIME
The typical processing time for a visa is 10 (ten) business days, starting from the date the application is physically received by the Consulate. If the application is incomplete, an additional 10 business days should be expected from the time you provide the requested documents. We strongly recommend submitting your application AT LEAST 15 business days before your planned travel date, as some cases may take up to a month for authorization. Urgent requests will be reviewed by the Consulate and may be processed within available resources at no extra charge.
VISA ENTRIES AND VALIDITY
The Consulate issues visitor visas with multiple entries. The validity of the visitor visa ranges from 90 days to 10 years, depending on the reciprocity policy and at the discretion of the Consulate.
VACCINATION
There are no mandatory vaccines for traveling to Brazil. For information on recommended vaccines, please check ANVISA's website.

Nevertheless, the holder of a visitor visa may receive payment from the Brazilian government or a Brazilian employer or private entity as per diem, pro labore, lodging or subsistence allowances intended solely for the payment of their travel expenses as well as artistic pay and cash prizes in the context of artistic, cultural or sports competitions.
c) Visitor visas are good for multiple entries, yet authorized stays are for a maximum of 90 days per visit (if necessary, an extension may be obtained with the Federal Police in Brazil and must be requested prior to the expiration of the initially authorized stay);
