In the case of the postal service, once you have received the Consulate's validation in e-Consular, send the necessary documents by post plus the consular fee in the form of a postal order, which can be purchased at any Japanese post office. Click here for more information.
Processing time
Up to 10 working days.
⚠️ The processing time is counted from the moment the documents are received at the Consulate.

💡 Don't book trips or buy tickets before you get your passport. Wait until you receive it!
⚠️Somente In cases of proven emergency, passports may be issued as a matter of urgency. In these cases, apply for your passport in person and not by post. Situations classified as emergencies are only those that involve a risk to the life, safety or human dignity of Brazilian citizens.
