✅ Business E-Visa Application For Indian Citizens
DOCUMENT CHECKLIST
⚠️ This category applies only to Indian Citizens, holding an Indian passport, travelling for business purposes, check the ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA before starting your process.
ALL the following documents MUST be uploaded to the Online Visa Application Form
- Passport Requirements
- ☐ Passport must be signed by the applicant.
- ☐ Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of intended entry.
- ☐ EVERY page of the passport must be uploaded (including identification, blank pages, visas and stamps).
- Financial Documents
- ☐ Proof of financial capability (select one or more):
- ☐ Bank statements for the last three months.
- ☐ Paycheck slips for the last three months.
- ☐ Most recent Income Tax Return (ITR).
- Travel & Personal Documents
- ☐ Passport-style photo compliant with ICAO requirements.
- ☐ Photo taken in the last 6 months.
- ☐ ICAO Standard Photograph with the following specifications:
- The photograph must be taken from the front, against white background.
- The applicant's face and shoulders must be centralized on the camera and he or she must be looking straight at the camera. The face should occupy 70-80% of the photo.
- No reflections, shadows or glares are accepted in the picture.
- The applicant must maintain a neutral face expression and the eyes must be open and visible.
- If you wear glasses, the lenses may not reflect the ambient light or camera flash. Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses, or thick frames, are not acceptable.
- Headgear or hats are not acceptable, except when used for religious reasons. They cannot, however, prevent a perfect view of the face of the applicant.
- Children can not appear with toys, pacifiers, or hands of people holding them.

☐ Flight tickets (booked itinerary showing entrance to and exit from Brazil)
⚠️ Do not pay for tickets that demand urgent issuance of the visa, your visa will start to be analyzed and processed on the scheduled date set by the e-consular system.
- ☐ Personal Cover Letter signed by the applicant.
- ☐ Letter includes relevant information about the applicant.
- ☐ Letter includes relevant information about the intended trip.
- ☐ Hotel reservation or similar accommodation document.
- Invitation Letter from Brazil
- ☐ Invitation Letter from the company or organizer of the event in Brazil.
- ☐ Letter must be signed by the responsible party of the inviting company/ sponsor in Brazil.
- ☐ The signature on the document must be either:
- ☐ Notarized in Brazil (with valid QR Code); or
- ☐ Signed digitally, by the responsible party of the inviting company/ sponsor in Brazil, through the official gov.br system in Brazil.
⚠️ Notes:
⚠️Documents that cannot be verified by the Consulate General of Brazil in Mumbai will not be accepted.
⚠️ Once you have uploaded all the mandatory documents described above to the Online Visa Application Form, finish completing the said form and follow the rest of the instructions on the link: Business e-visa STEP-BY-STEP.
⚠️ The Consulate General of Brazil in Mumbai, upon review and approval, reserves the right to request additional documentation and/or an in-person interview.
