Important Information Regarding the Selection Process
The Consulate General of Brazil in Mumbai hereby announces the conclusion of the Written Language Exams phase for Selection Process 01/2026.
As outlined in the official selection guidelines, the Technical Assistant position is a role of trust that demands significant administrative, linguistic, and support duties. Because Linguistic Mediation is a core responsibility, the ability to provide written translation and manage formal diplomatic correspondence is paramount to the function.
Accordingly, the language assessments process was guided by a commitment to equality and strictly followed the Grading System and Selection Criteria document in the sense that the Written Language Exams (English and Hindi) are of an Eliminatory nature. These mandatory exams were designed to specifically test the candidate's professional knowledge and adequate use of each language in a formal and diplomatic manner.
Only candidates who successfully demonstrated the mandatory proficiency and formal writing capabilities required for the daily operations of the Consulate advance to the next stage. The evaluation parameters were applied strictly and equally to all participants in accordance with the published guidelines.
