VISTOS (VISAS)
The reinstatement of the Visitor Visa (Visto de Visita) requirement for tourists from the USA will take effect on April 10th, 2025. The visa exemption for U.S. passport holders traveling to Brazil as tourists remains valid until April 9th, 2025 (with the exception of Brazilian citizens, who must travel with a Brazilian passport).
Those interested should submit their e-Visa applications at the following website: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/.
For all other types of visas, the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami only accepts in-person applications. Appointments must be scheduled through the e-Consular system at ec-miami.itamaraty.gov.br.

LOCATION AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The Consulate-General of Brazil in Miami is located in Coral Gables (Miami-Dade County), next to US-1, with easy access by car or public transportation.
If using public transportation, take the Metrorail to Douglas Road Station (111 Ruiz Avenue). The Consulate is located just to the left of the station exit, at 3150 SW 38th Ave – Miami Green Building.

PARKING
Near the Consulate-General of Brazil, there are several parking options available (see the red circle marked with the letter "P" for "parking" on the map above).
Parking at the Douglas Road Station;
Multiple parking lots at Merrick Park Shopping Center;
Parking at the Millams Market building; and others.
