VIVIS – VISITOR VISA
Important Notice: As of April 10th, 2025, citizens of the United States, Canada, and Australia traveling to Brazil for tourism, business, transit, sports, or artistic activities, for stays of up to 90 days, must apply exclusively for the E-Visa/Visitor Visa (VIVIS). The E-Visa must be requested through a third-party company, via the VFS Global portal. For details on how to apply, click here.

Please do not mail documents to the Consulate before being instructed by our agents.

- Step 1 – Online Visa Application: Fill out the form and upload all required documents.
- Step 2 – Consular System: Continue your application on the e-consular platform and please wait for a response by email.

Processing Times
- Application review: Up to 20 days per review
- Visa issuance: Up to 10 days after submission of all documents
