BRAZILIAN PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Brazilian passport;
• 1 recent colored passport photograph on a white background;
• Original and a copy of the Brazilian ID (RG);
• Brazilian electoral justice document- “Certidãode Quitação Eleitoral";
• Copy of CPF – Cadastro de pessoas Físicas;
• If married, a copy of the marriage certificate
• Birth Certificate – Certidão de Nascimento;
• Males aged 18 – 45 years must provide proof of Military enrolment – Certificado de Alistamento Militar.

ADDITIONAL:FOR MINORS UNDER 18 YEARS

• Parental Authorization consent forms are duly filled out (click here for forms). Brazilian parents or holders of RNE will sign their signatures in front of the Head Consul, while non-resident holders will sign their signatures at any of the designated Notaries;
• Original and a copy of your birth certificate (names of your parents must be visible).

ADDITIONAL: FROM YOUR BRAZILIAN PARENT(S):

• Original and a copy of a valid Brazilian document that includes a photo and the names of their parents (your grandfather and grandmother);
• If the document above doesn't include the parents’ names, you must also present the original and a copy of their Brazilian birth certificates or marriage certificate

ADDITIONAL: FROM YOUR NON-BRAZILIAN PARENT(S):

• Original and a copy of a valid passport;
• Original and a copy of the birth certificate.

Important Information:

1. Applicants MUST upload their Passport Photograph, Signature, Previous Brazilian Passport Bio- Data Page, and all other Brazilian documents as possible when filling out the online form.

2. Applicants MUST include a photocopy of all original documents submitted.

3. Passport photographs must be GLUED on the form before arriving at the Consulate.

4. Application takes an average of 21 working days.
