Annual CPF Re-registration for Foreigners

Foreign CPF holders with an address abroad must re-register annually through the Federal Revenue Service app, available for Android and iOS platforms, starting January 13, 2025.

How to re-register:

1. Download or update the Federal Revenue Service app;
2. Enter your CPF number and date of birth;
3. Use the app to capture a photo of the CPF holder’s face and passport;
4. Fill in the required registration information as requested by the app.

IF DISCREPANCIES IN CPF DATA OCCUR DURING THE PROCESS VIA THE APP, PREVENTING COMPLETION:

The foreigner must submit a request through the e-consular system under the Annual CPF Re-registration tab for validation. Once validated, they must schedule an in-person appointment at the Consulate-General of Brazil in Istanbul and present the following mandatory documents:

1. Passport or National Migration Registration Card (CRNM) or former Foreigner Identity Card (CIE/RNE);
2. A copy of the error message generated by the app.
