Among other activities, the Secom-Chicago performs market research, organizes trade missions, assists Brazilian entrepreneurs visiting the United States for market prospecting, and assists American entrepreneurs intending to invest or import from Brazil. The section also provides information on foreign trade regulations from Brazil and the United States, focusing on the operation and business practices of the Midwest of the USA, besides participating in business meetings and lectures about Brazilian and international economies.
