Guidelines
- The photograph must be in color and taken within the last 6 months.
- The photograph must measure 2 x 2 inches and be taken full-face against a plain white background.
- The applicant’s face and shoulders must be fully visible and centered in the frame, with the applicant looking directly at the camera.
- No shadows, reflections, or glare are permitted anywhere in the photograph.
- The applicant must have a neutral facial expression, with no smiling or frowning.
- Both eyes must be open and clearly visible.
- If glasses are worn, the lenses must not reflect light or flash. Sunglasses or glasses with thick or highly noticeable frames are not permitted under any circumstances.
- Hats or head coverings are not allowed, except for those worn for religious reasons, provided they do not obscure any part of the face.
- Avoid wearing white clothing, as it may blend into the background.
- Photographs of young children must show the child with the most neutral expression possible. Only the child’s face and shoulders should appear in the image, fully framed. Toys, hands, or other objects must not be visible.
