The Kingdom of Morocco
Diplomatic relations between Brazil and Morocco were established in 1906. The embassies of Brazil in Rabat and of Morocco in Brasilia were opened in 1963 and 1967 respectively.

In addition, cooperation has increased and diversified with the signing of bilateral instruments in areas such as trade and investments, agriculture and livestock, defense, legal cooperation, cooperation between diplomatic academies, among others.
Brazil and Morocco maintain, since 1999, a political consultations mechanism whose last edition was held in May 2024, in Brasilia. Following the creation in 2015 of Brazil-Morocco parliamentary groups both in the Chamber of Deputies and in the Federal Senate of Brazil’s National Congress, contacts between the Parliamets of the two countries have strengthen.
In terms of technical cooperation, a project for professional training and promotion of work in digital content is being implemented with SENAI and its Moroccan counterpart.
With regard to trade, bilateral relations have strengthened over the last two decades, mainly due to the growing integration of fertilizers from Morocco into the agricultural production chain in Brazil.
