Republic of Uzbekistan

Brazil and Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations in 1993. Brazil is represented to the government of Uzbekistan by its embassy in Moscow.
The 1st Meeting of Brazil–Uzbekistan Political Consultations was held in Tashkent in September 2008. In 2016, the Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan visited Brazil, during which he recognized the potential for cooperation between the two countries and expressed Uzbek interest in launching initiatives in areas such as agriculture, mining, energy, tourism, and sports.
Trade between Brazil and Uzbekistan totaled $38.37 million in 2018, the highest level on records, almost entirely consisting of Brazilian exports ($38.17 million), notably sugar and vehicle parts.
