Reported deaths on the Colombia-Ecuador border

The Brazilian government expresses deep  concern over reports of deaths , whose cause has not yet been determined,  on the border between Colombia and Ecuador.

The Brazilian government regrets the loss of human lives and urges the parties involved to exercise restraint, with a view to seeking a peaceful solution to the dispute.

Brazil is ready to support dialogue efforts, aimed at preserving peace and security in the region.
