The Brazilian government has concluded negotiations with Turkish authorities that will allow the export of Brazil nuts, both shelled and unshelled, to that country.
Globally recognized for its nutritional value, the Brazil nut is sustainably harvested by traditional communities. Exporting this product to the Turkish market will help generate income and support regional development, contributing to the conservation of standing forest.
In 2025, Turkey imported more than $3.2 billion in Brazilian agricultural products, with emphasis on soybean complex products, coffee, fibers, and textile products.
With this announcement, Brazilian agribusiness reaches 535 market openings since the beginning of 2023.
