Death of service members on duty in Ecuador

The Government of Brazil laments the death of Ecuadorian service members of Jungle Brigade No. 19 “Napo,” while on duty in the Alto Punino sector, Orellana Province, Ecuador, on Friday, 9 May.

In expressing its condolences to the families of the victims, the Government of Brazil conveys its solidarity with the people and Government of Ecuador and reaffirms its willingness to deepen cooperation with the Ecuadorian Government in the fields of public security and the fight against violence.
