Agrément granted to the Ambassador-designate of Brazil to Nigeria

The Brazilian government is pleased to inform that the government of the Republic of Nigeria has granted its agrément to Second Class Minister Carlos José Areias Moreno Garcete as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to that country.

Carlos José Areias Moreno Garcete is Minister Counselor at the Embassy of Brazil in Brussels. This is his first designation as head of a posting abroad.

In accordance with the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
