Agrément granted to the Ambassador-designate of Brazil to Germany

The Brazilian government is pleased to inform that the government of the Federal Republic of Germany has granted its agrément to Ambassador Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to that country.

Rodrigo Baena Soares is currently Brazil’s ambassador to Russia. Previously, he served as Brazil’s ambassador to Peru and Mozambique.

In accordance with the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
