Agrément granted to Brazil's Ambassador Designate to Ghana

The Brazilian government is pleased to announce that the government of the Republic of Ghana has granted its agrément to Minister Mariana Gonçalves Madeira as Brazil's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to that country.

Mariana Gonçalves Madeira is the Chief of Staff of the General Coordination of Technical Cooperation with Developed Countries of the Brazilian Cooperation Agency. This is her first appointment as head of a diplomatic post abroad.

In accordance with the Constitution, the appointment will be submitted to the appreciation of the Federal Senate.
