Agrément granted to Ambassador-designate of Brazil in Australia

The Brazilian Government is pleased to inform that the Commonwealth Government of Australia has granted its agrément to the appointment of Ambassador Claudio Frederico de Matos Arruda as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil in that country.

Currently Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Claudio Frederico de Matos Arruda served as Brazil's permanent representative to London-based International Organizations (2014-2016).

According to the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
