The following acts were adopted on the occasion of the State Visit of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to Japan – Tokyo, from March 24 to 27, 2025:

1. Strategic and Global Partnership Action Plan Brazil-Japan-  (2025-2030) [EN]

2. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Ministry of the Environment of Japan [PT] 

3. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan on the Brazil-Japan Industrial Integration Initiative

4. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Ports and Airports of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan on the Initiative for Sustainable Fuels and Mobility (ISFM) [EN]

5. Memorandum of Cooperation in Education between the Ministry of Education of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan [PT|EN]

6. Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies and digital inclusion between the Ministry of Communications of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan [PT|EN|JP]

7. Letter of Intent between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Family Farming of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan to Strengthen Cooperation in the Fields of Pasture and Degraded Agricultural Land Recovery in Brazil

8. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Government of Japan in the Field of Science, Technology, and Innovation

9. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Health of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan

10. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Cabinet Office of Japan and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan on the Water-Related Disaster Risk Reduction [EN|JP]

Additionally, within the framework of the visit, agreements were signed between Brazilian and Japanese public and private entities.
