[Updated] T20 Brazil extends the deadline for submission of Policy Abstracts
The G20 Engagement Group invites thinkers and researchers from around the world to collaborate, share evidence, exchange ideas and develop joint policy briefs. Candidate entries must present clear policy proposals to support the G20 in addressing global challenges.

The G20 Engagement Group—T20 Brasil—invites global think tanks and research centers to contribute to shaping the policy landscape. After calling for policy briefs, the initiative will offer recommendations to G20 participants involved in the Sherpa and Finance tracks. A final communiqué will be published with recommendations for the official G20 task forces.
So as to encourage collaborative networks, the briefs must be written by co-authors from different think tanks and countries, and observe a gender balance (at least one man and one woman must be co-authors). The policy briefs must be aligned with the 36 subtopics that were selected among suggestions from more than 100 Brazilian and international think tanks. These subtopics have been organized into six task force topics that address issues such as combating inequality; sustainable climate action; reform of international financial architecture; and inclusive digital transformation.
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended until 5th February 2024.
