G20 expands outreach through trilingual radio bulletins in partnership with the National Radio Network
Bulletins produced directly from the G20 Brasil headquarters summarize the work of the international forum. Partnership with EBC ensures free distribution and reflects the Brazilian government's commitment to strengthening the country's role in international cooperation

G20 Brazil took a significant step towards expanding its presence and providing accessible information to the Brazilian and global audience. In partnership with the Empresa Brasil de Comunicação National Radio Network (Rede Nacional de Rádio), the G20 has launched radio bulletins in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Radio stations within countries that speak these three languages may download news bulletins on redenacionalderadio.ebc.com.br and g20.org websites.
The bulletins—which are approximately two minutes long—are produced daily by reporters at the G20 headquarters in Brasília. The content provides a summary of information that has been published on the G20 website, offering broadcasters and listeners direct and dynamic access to the latest updates about the international cooperation forum that is made up of the world's main economies.
The strategic partnership with the EBC National Radio Network making content available free of charge, ensures that information reaches the population across the country and in several nations. This effort also highlights the commitment of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's government to leverage Brazil's position as a protagonist in promoting international cooperation and strengthening diplomacy with countries that speak these three languages.
Throughout this year, more than 120 working group meetings are scheduled to take place in 15 Brazilian cities. Another 20 ministerial meetings have also been planned. The G20 Summit will be held in Rio de Janeiro on November 18 and 19, bringing together Heads of Government and State. All events will be covered on G20 platforms, further strengthening the international forum’s communications and transparency.
